We rejoice in God’s gift of children, and we offer a service of thanksgiving to any family that wants it. This always takes place during our Sunday morning service, and lasts just under an hour.
Unlike Baptism, it doesn’t involve water, nor do parents make any promises on their child’s behalf. It is therefore open to believers and non-believers alike, and is the most appropriate service in cases where parents didn’t feel able to make a commitment to follow Jesus or to be a part of his Church.
