A short service at Elmdon Church, led by Rector Toby Crowe, to remember those named on the war memorial in the churchyard. This is followed by the lighting of the beacon in Elmdon Park at 7.00pm and the ringing of church bells at 7.05pm.
Refreshments and toilets will be available in the church hall, where visitors can also find out more about how war affected those living in the Elmdon area. All welcome – parking is extremely limited so local residents are encouraged to walk or use public transport.
