In the light of advice from government and the Church of England nationally, and in line with other churches around the country, we regret to announce that we have suspended our usual Sunday services until further notice.
A small group of us hope to start Sunday meetings again soon, to pray, to study God’s word and to share the Lord’s Supper in fellowship (though in a slightly different format).
Please watch this space for updates, and do email us at email@example.com if you would be interested in taking part (but note that, if you are over 70 or have an underlying health condition, we strongly encourage you to remain in isolation until national advice changes).
Whatever happens, we plan to continue posting sermons and our weekly prayer sheet to the website. We also hope to upload video material to our Youtube channel, and on Facebook. Both of these will also be linked from the church website.
Our friends at St Ebbe’s, Oxford are streaming a short (15 minute) service every morning at 8.45am, which you may also find helpful at this time.
We are still working out the details of how we can best support our community during this period, and our safeguarding team is in the process of contacting church members who are at higher risk. Please keep them, and each other, in your prayers day by day.
